ANMF (SA Branch) Membership Terms and Conditions
Membership Eligibility
ANMF (SA Branch) membership is open to the below:
Registered Nurses, Midwives and Enrolled Nurses eligible to be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Assistants in Nursing in acute care in public hospitals and aged care in private/not-for-profit residential aged care (must hold a Certificate 3 – Health Services Assistance)
Personal Care Assistants in non-government aged care
Students of Nursing or Midwifery
Federal Organisation Membership
You will receive admission to membership of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation ABN 41 816 898 298, an organisation registered pursuant to the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth). You will observe the rules of the
union
as amended from time to time and appoint the ANMF as your bargaining agent.
State Union Membership
You will receive admission to membership of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (SA Branch) ABN 95 969 485 175, an organisation registered pursuant to the Fair Work Act 1994 (SA). You will observe the rules of the
union
as amended from time to time and appoint the ANMF as your bargaining agent.
Membership Categories & Fees
ANMF (SA Branch) membership is available for the below categories:
Working Category Membership
Student Membership
Associate Membership
If you are presently working a nurse, midwife or personal care assistant you must join ANMF (SA Branch) as a full member. Categories are calculated on average work hours per week. A $10 discount applies if invoice payments are paid by the due date.

Membership activation & resignation
Membership becomes active once the application form is completed, successfully submitted and first payment is processed.
Members intending to resign are required to give 14 days’ written notice and remain financial during this period.
Legal advice and representation
Professional, legal and industrial advice and representation is only provided to those who are full financial (working category) ANMF (SA Branch) members at the time the instance for which they are seeking assistance occurs.
Direct Debit Payments
By selecting Direct Debit payment option, you acknowledge the governing debit arrangements between you and ANMF (SA Branch) and authorise the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation User 01593 to debit for the purpose of ANMF membership subscriptions, the nominated account with any amount which the Debit User is entitled to charge the member through the Bulk Electronic Clearing System. In the event of changes to subscription rates you authorise the ANMF (SA Branch) to alter the amount from the appropriate date in accordance with such changes.
Credit Card Payments
By selecting Credit Card payment option, you authorise the ANMF (SA Branch) to charge your credit card automatically upon receipt of your membership subscription up to the end of the current financial month/quarter/year and henceforth on the first working day of each month/quarter. In the event of changes to subscription rates you authorise the ANMF (SA Branch) to alter the amount from the appropriate date in accordance with such changes.
Student Membership
ANMF (SA Branch) will automatically upgrade your membership to the relevant classification on the advised completion date of your studies. Automatic payments will then reflect the new classification fee unless you advise otherwise.

The ANMF (SA Branch) collects personal information from members in the performance of our role in representing the industrial and professional interests of members. We place great emphasis on maintaining and enhancing the privacy and security of your personal information. Tax Deductible
ANMF (SA Branch) membership fees are fully tax deductible and your cover starts the day you join.
Supporting nursing and midwifery research
ANMF (SA Branch) members agree to support nursing and midwifery research through making a regular donation to the Rosemary Bryant Foundation equivalent of $2 per quarter, in addition to the membership subscriptions, for this purpose, unless you wish to opt out from making this contribution.

Unless you opt out, you will receive marketing and other communications from the Group (as defined in the Privacy Policy) via email, SMS or direct mail. The primary method for receiving important information about your membership is via email.
Refund Policy
Where a member resigns the member shall not be entitled to any refund of the payment of that part of an annual subscription which relates to the balance of the membership year after the date upon which the resignation took effect or the member ceased to be a member.
