RDNS members vote yes to a new EA

Royal District Nursing Service members have overwhelmingly voted in favour of a proposed Enterprise Agreement. 

Key features successfully negotiated by the ANMF (SA Branch) include: 

• Wage outcomes of 12.6% over three years (4.6% in year 1, back paid to first full pay period on/after (ffppa) 1 August 2022). 
• Further 4% increases annually on ffppa 1 August 2023 and 1 August 2024.  
• Improved casual loading provisions to match the Nurses Award 2020.  
• Removed the cap on leave loading being paid to some Nurses.  

The Agreement has been lodged with the Fair Work Commission, for approval in the next few weeks. 

“This Agreement is a great outcome for members who, pending approval, will receive better than average wage increases for each of the three years of the Agreement,’’ ANMF (SA Branch) CEO/Secretary Adj Associate Professor Elizabeth Dabars AM said.
