Feedback sought on new WCH

27 April 2021

The new Women’s and Children’s Project Team has provided the ANMF (SA Branch) with a spreadsheet identifying the proposed number of consultation rooms required to provide the OPD (Outpatients Department) services within the new hospital. You can access the file here.

The main questions centre around whether or not you consider the current amount of consultation rooms for Outpatient services sufficient?

Is there a significant patient waiting list related to your specialty?

Will this impact on the number of consultant rooms required for the new hospital?

What do you consider to be the correct number of rooms for your specialty in the OPD?

Have Nursing/Midwifery Led Clinics been given due consideration, and are there sufficient rooms?

Should all Outpatient clinics be located to one area?

Do you have any concerns if the administration of the OPD is centralised to one main area?

We are keen to hear your thoughts and opinions on these matters and any other comments or concerns you wish to raise.

Please provide your feedback by the 7th of May 2021 to ANMF (SA Branch) Officer Sue McKechnie via email [email protected]  or call her on 0417 849 508.
