Course Overview
This course is an accredited course with participants achieving the Unit of Competency: HLTAID011 Provide first aid.
The course will cover the principles of first aid and incorporates on line learning and assessments combined with a 1-day practical workshop and assessment.
The course is only available to members and their immediate families. It is recommended that participants have a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the 1-day workshop to achieve the online learning and assessment.
Entry Requirements
Please note as part of the assessment requirements for this course all participants are required to be physically able to perform at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted single rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) (5 cycles of both compressions and ventilations) on an adult resuscitation manikin placed on the floor.
