The ANMF SA has the pleasure of inviting you to the Delirium, Dementia and Depression in Older Adults Online Workshop 2024.   

The Delirium, Dementia and Depression in Older Adults Online Workshop is a great opportunity to gain insight into current best practice, and to develop knowledge that can directly impact on the care you provide.

The day will include:
  • an update from Dr Faizal Ibrahim on contemporary Dementia care,
  • learn practical strategies to support people living with dementia from the Dementia Training Australia,
  • clinical practice information from the Behaviour Support and Restrictive Practices Unit in the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission,
  • antimicrobial stewardship and urinary tract infections,
  • supported decision making,
  • current research on the use of antidepressants in Residential Aged Care.

Attendees also have the option to view the workshop live as it happens or at your leisure. The recording will be available to view until Friday 5th July 2024. You will be eligible to 6 CPD hours for viewing the event.
