I am a casual employee at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and have nursed for twenty five years. I am thrilled to see the union reviewing conditions in our country hospitals. I was raised from country folks. I have a mother whom was raised in Bordertown, Wolsley and my father migrated to Australia and worked the railway lines in rural South Australia. I have many memories hearing stories about coming to town and the challenges they faced. I also understood the need for them to have access to good sound health care for preventative and chronic illlness, so they can stay in there home towns surrounded by friends, family and community. Great idea from the union helping our country hospitals. Thank you!
