Country Health SA Local Health Network (CHSALHN) has released its proposed Midwifery Caseload Model of Care Pilot for the Yorke & Northern Region.

CHSALHN says the model has been designed to improve the long-term sustainability of birthing services, offer best practice and improve the capability of the rural midwifery workforce. It describes how midwives will work and ensure a midwifery workforce in our rural and regional areas.

We encourage midwives who work in these—and any other—areas of the state to view the proposed Model of Care here and provide any feedback by Monday 16 July to sue.mckechnie@anmfsa.org.au
