Registrations are now open for the 2018 Annual Professional Conference

We are pleased to announce that registrations are NOW OPEN for our Annual Professional Conference on 1 – 2 August 2018.

This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever before from its new location at the ANMF (SA Branch) Conference Centre at Ridleyton.

Registration costs have been capped at 2017 levels and we are also offering a special $100 early bird savings rate until 1 July 2018, so be sure to book early so you don’t miss out. Seats are limited.

Hear from inspiring and insightful speakers on the impact of nursing and midwifery care, both nationally and internationally, on the lives and wellbeing of patients.


World renowned speakers
We are thrilled to welcome University of Southampton’s Chair of Health Services Research Professor Peter Griffiths who will be speaking on ‘Doing away with Doctors –  Developing a nursing workforce’.

Other confirmed speakers include Director of the Australian Health Service Research Institute and University of Wollongong Health Services Research Professor Kathy Eagar, who will be sharing her insights around ‘Developing an alternative funding model for residential aged care’.

We are also delighted to be able to welcome former Prime Minister, The Hon Julia Gillard AC who will speak in her capacity as Chair of beyondblue. Ms Gillard will present  ‘A Survivor’s Guide to Public Life: From politics to beyondblue and Global Education’,

Comedian Bob Downe will provide light relief, colour and movement.

Reminder for Call for Abstracts – Closing 25 May

ANMF (SA Branch) is seeking abstracts for oral presentations on nursing and midwifery innovation that enhance professional practice and impact on patient care.

Themes for submission include education, practice, research and policy and may relate to any care setting.

We encourage you to submit an abstract for consideration, so you will have the opportunity to share knowledge with your colleagues and help translate your innovation in to practice.
