The ANMF (SA Branch) has been working with other ANMF branches nationwide and Flinders University and the University of South Australia on a research project aiming to establish evidence-based tools that will inform staffing and skills mix requirement in the Aged Care Industry.
The project team is now seeking feedback from staff working in aged care to take part in a national missed care survey. This survey seeks your input on the type and frequency of aged care interventions that are incomplete or missed and the reasons why.
This data will provide a snapshot of the adequacy of current staffing levels and skill mix in aged care, and build an evidence-based case for a consistent aged care staffing and skills mix model in Australia.
The survey is conducted independently by Flinders University, will take 20 minutes to complete and is confidential. The survey is open until Friday 22 January 2016 and will be collated and analysed by end of March 2016.
