INPUT FROM INTERNATIONALLY QUALIFIED MIDWIVES

Eligible Registered Midwives are being encouraged to participate in a University of South Australia study on exploring the experiences of internationally qualified midwives from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds in Australia.

To be eligible to contribute to the research, you:

  • Are an internationally qualified midwife and your first language is not English;
  • Have at least two years’ experience working as a midwife in your native country;
  • Are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a midwife; and
  • Have worked as a midwife in Australia for less than 10 years.
