Certificate III in Individual Support (formerly Certificate III in Aged Care)

Do you have a desire to provide support and care to elderly people in an Aged Care Facility or their home?

The Aged and Home & Community Care sector needs workers as over 200,000 Aged Care workers are due to retire in the next 15 years (Aged Care Workforce Final Report 2012 DoHA)

To enter the Aged Care workforce, you will need to study the CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support to gain new skills and knowledge.

ANMEC can provide the skills and knowledge that you need through several flexible delivery options:

  1. 12 week course fulltime – Delivered at ANMEC, comprising of classroom, online learning and workplace practice;
  2. 16 week course (2 days per week, except placement is fulltime) – Delivered at ANMEC, comprising of classroom, online learning and workplace practice;
  3. 12 month course part time – Delivered at ANMEC, comprising of classroom, online learning and workplace practice. This program is a VET in School program, where students complete it as part of the SACE year 11 and 12 points.

PLEASE NOTE: ANMEC are obligated under the training standards to ensure students going into courses are fully informed of the course requirements, course fees and are going to be successful at completing the qualification and successful at gaining employment. In order to do this, ANMEC require applicants to complete a questionnaire and language, literacy and numeracy test as a way to determine this and if not, suggest support options.
