Can’t make it to the ANMF (SA Branch) Annual Professional Conference? Yeah, you can!!!
It’s as simple as flipping open a laptop.
For those unable to attend October’s Florence Nightingale-to-now themed festival, the ANMF (SA Branch) is offering digital tickets at a fraction of the cost of physical attendance, giving subscribers a ‘virtual’ window to a plethora of high-profile medical experts as they regale us with their acumen, wit, wisdom and a wealth of insightful anecdotes.
Among the stellar speaking guests; social justice advocate Dr John Falzon will be championing equality and health, nursing professors Alison Kitson and Mary Chiarella will talk fundamentals and evolution of care, while Dr Roger Hunt will give us a palliative perspective.
On the entertainment side, popular comedian Cal Wilson will keep us all amused and the acclaimed Kuma Kaaru Dance Group will showcase their powerhouse Indigenous song and dance talents.
The ‘virtual’ conference can be viewed live as it happens or at your leisure over a 12-month period.
For those unable to attend physically for reasons of work, family or remoteness, tuning in offers another alternative, be it from the comfort of your home or via laptop from the corner pub or cafe.
Prices start at just $60 - covering both days - for ANMF (SA Branch) members, compared to $240 for physical attendance. For all pricing go to

The Annual Professional Conference will be held at the ANMF (SA Branch) Conference Centre, 191 Torrens Rd, Ridleyton, October 14 and 15.
To register for tickets, virtual and physical, go to

Those physically attending get to indulge in gourmet catering and rubbing shoulders with the superstars of the nursing and midwifery professions (contingent, of course, on October’s social distancing demands).
