Have your say on intellectual disability health

22 May 2020

Consultation on the new SA Intellectual Disability Health Service Draft Model of Care is now underway until May 29.

This document outlines a recommended Model of Care for the delivery of health services for people with intellectual disability and complex health needs in South Australia.

In particular, this document describes how the SA Intellectual Disability Health Service (SAIDHS), previously known as the Centre for Disability Health (CDH), will provide clinical leadership in intellectual disability health and how it will partner with and build the capacity of mainstream health services in South Australia to deliver integrated, evidence based, person-centered health care to people with intellectual disability state-wide.

This Model of Care is the result of extensive consultation and collaboration with stakeholders from across South Australia.

Please find attached the Draft Model of Care. Comments and feedback are sought from ANMF (SA Branch) members and can be submitted to the Duty Officer or Louise Graham at [email protected]
