The ANMF (SA Branch) have been provided with this Clinical Services Plan (CSP), the final output of the first phase of planning for The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH) Stage 3 Redevelopment.
The Stage 3 redevelopment project at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital will deliver a fully integrated outpatient/inpatient and emergency service by providing specialist targeted services to residents accessing Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) services. Carramar and Essentia were engaged by SA Health to develop the Clinical Services Plan that identifies which services are required and will move to the Stage 3 Redevelopment. It is an evolving plan and may change as the planning progresses, as it determines the service capacity to meet current and projected needs of a growing population and aims to improve patient flow.
The Clinical Services Plan analyses all services across CALHN and compares the current activity to projected activity. We encourage all members and those particularly from the TQEH ED, ICU, Perioperative, Rehabilitation (Hampstead) to review this plan and provide any feedback to the Duty Officer.
