This evening, the ANMF (SA Branch) Executive was provided with an update on the renewed Public Sector Enterprise Bargaining discussions with State Government representatives.
The discussions, whilst still at an early stage, appear to be making positive progress on some of the more significant matters that are in dispute.
Although we are still some distance away from receiving reconsidered proposals, as an act of good faith, Executive has resolved to suspend Local Health Network stop-work meetings scheduled between now and Friday 22 November.
The
state-wide rally on Thursday 28 November will proceed unless we receive a revised offer from the Government addressing the key issues in dispute that can be presented to members for consideration.
We will provide any revised offer or positions as they are received.
