Independent filmmaker seeks Remote Nurses for documentary

11 September 2019

The ANMF (SA Branch) has been approached by an independent filmmaker seeking Remote Area Nurses willing to be involved in an observational documentary on remote nursing in Central Australia and the Northern Territory.

The synopsis of the film is as follows:

A heart-warming observational documentary following four remote nurses into Central Australia and The Top End showing humanity at its best - a mutual guarantee of empathy, acceptance and purpose of existence set against Australia's unique environment and myriad of humorous and gritty outback characters. This documentary series illustrates the fabric and determination needed to be a remote nurse working in the outback communities of Australia - completely off the grid.

Interested nurses can contact Lisa Eismen via [email protected] or 0431 138 186

Please note: the ANMF (SA Branch) is not involved in the making of this film.
