When ANMF (SA Branch) Officers identified that incorrect staffing was being applied in a general medical ward at Flinders Medical Centre, the issue was raised with Southern Adelaide Local Health Network.
After questioning the data through ongoing discussions between SALHN and the ANMF, we are pleased to confirm that staffing in the ward has been adjusted to include an extra nurse on every early shift, across 7 days—an additional 56 hours of nursing care every week.
