SA Health’s Workplace Surveillance Policy Directive is intended to provide direction on:

  • the appropriate use of surveillance in and associated with SA Health workplaces, both by its employees and others acting for SA Health; and
  • the storage and disclosure of data collected through workplace surveillance, and

We encourage all public sector members to review the revised Workplace Surveillance Policy Directive, particularly with respect to the following areas:

  • Notification of surveillance
  • Changes to workplace surveillance legislation
  • Practical implications in SA Health, including the management of surveillance data
