CALHN, WCHN to consult over Voluntary Separation Packages

19 September 2019

After an ANMF-initiated industrial dispute at the SA Employment Tribunal last week, both major Local Health Networks have agreed to commence consultation with the ANMF over Voluntary Separation Package (VSP) offers announced earlier this month.

At the conference, Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) and Women’s and Children’s Hospital Network (WCHN) committed to ongoing consultation throughout the process. It was agreed that before any position was made deemed to be excess, the LHN would consult with the ANMF, in particular to discuss the impact that the removal of the identified position will have on work flow and workload of all nursing and midwifery employees.

The ANMF remain seriously concerned about the impact of the removal of any nursing and midwifery positions.

Members with any queries or concerns with regard to the VSP offers are encouraged to contact the ANMF (SA Branch) Duty Officer on 8334 1900.
