Manual Handling Mentor Training
This course is designed to give participants the confidence to become Manual Handling mentors within their work place, or an opportunity to enhance existing skills. The course includes the achievement of 2 nationally accredited units of competency: HLTWHS005 Conduct manual tasks safely BSBFLM312 Contribute to team effectiveness and combines this learning with “No lift no injury” principles of safe manual handling


The course enables participants to complete learning and assessments online and then participate in 2 x 1 day workshops to consolidate achievements and demonstrate skills in manual handling techniques, presenting and mentoring. It is suggested that participants have a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the workshops to complete the online learning and assessments
