The session includes a review of vital signs and administering medication, including IV fluids and drug calculations, a discussion of the signs and symptoms of the deteriorating patient and a BLS refresher

It is recommended that non-practising Nurses/midwives or nurses/midwives who have not practised for over 12 months and wish to update their skills attend each of the individual 3-hour sessions offered on the above topics
