Course Overview
This course is designed to give participants the confidence to become Manual Handling mentors within their work place, or an opportunity to enhance existing skills. The course includes the achievement of 2 nationally accredited units of competency: HLTWHS005 Conduct manual tasks safely and BSBFLM312 Contribute to team effectiveness, and combines this learning with “No lift no injury” principles of safe manual handling.
The course is designed to enable participants to complete learning and assessments online and participate in 2 x 1 day workshops to consolidate achievements and demonstrate skills in manual handling techniques, presenting and mentoring.

ANMEC are obligated under the training standards to ensure students undertaking courses are fully informed of the course requirements, course fees and are going to be successful at completing the qualification and successful at gaining employment. In order to do this, ANMEC require applicants to complete a questionnaire and language, literacy and numeracy test as a way to determine this and if not, suggest support options.
